You will discover all the secrets of this colorful city: The spiritual heart of the capital is the Cathedral of Sameba.

Located on a hill above the Kur, the Metekhi Cathedral (XIII century), silently looking at the city, keeps memories of the past. According to legend, it was here that Queen Tamara prayed. Cathedral "Sioni" (XIIc). This place is interesting not only as an architectural structure and a monument of antiquity, but also as a holy place, where several Christian relics are kept. Under its arches, one can still see the cross of St. Nina, which is made from grapevine and, according to legend, is fastened with the hair of Nina herself.

Then you ride the lifts through the old town to the Narikala fortress - this is the soul of Tbilisi. From the fortress wall there are amazing views. Wonderful place for memorable photos.

Moving to "Mtskheta" - the oldest, city, the first capital of Georgia, the soul of this amazing country. Here you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with: The Cathedral of Svetitskhoveli (X century). He, the cathedral of the 12 apostles. At its base lies the Heaton of the Lord. Thanks to this shrine, Mtskheta is called the “second Jerusalem”.

Climb to the Jvari Monastery (V century), from where a beautiful panorama of the ancient capital opens (Jerusalem has a church with the same name). According to the legend, this temple was erected above the exuding fragrant oil (miro) of the cedar stump under which the enlightener of Georgia St. Nino prayed.

Here in Mtskheta, you will visit the Georgian peasant family, which will treat you to the best Georgian dishes at dinner. The owner of the winery will tell you about his vineyards and taste wine and chacha with him. As well as you expect fascinating lessons of Georgian dishes.

Visit the Batumi giant metallic love . Its author is Georgian artist / sculptor Tamara Kvesitadze. The statue is a figure of a woman and a man. They strive for each other, for 8-10 minutes they move very original and beautiful. And in the end they merge so that it seems as if one whole statue.
